All indoor sport and fitness centres, shopping centres, bars, cafes and restaurants must close
In a press conference just moments ago, PM Mette Frederiksen unveiled further initiatives aimed at curbing the growing number of coronavirus cases in Denmark.
From tomorrow morning at 10:00, there will be a temporary ban in place on all gatherings of 10 people or more, indoors or outdoors.
All indoor sport and fitness centres must temporarily close, as must shopping centres (supermarkets not included), bars, cafes and restaurants – although take-away is still permitted.

Plea to youth
Tatoo parlours, hairdressers, tanning centres and masseuses are also to close.
Shops are also called on to provide dispensers for customers to sanitise their hands.
The new rules will be in effect until March 30.
The PM also made a plea to the young people of Denmark, urging them to consider that there are older people who won’t fare as well as a youth might should they be infected.
