A new culinary venue, Madkulturens Hus (house of food culture), will open on top of the entrance to Frederiksberg Allé’s future Metro station in the Danish capital once the new City Circle Line is finished in the summer of 2019.
Madkulturens Hus will be designed by the Danish architect firm Cobe as a meeting place for the estimated 10,000 people who will pass through the Metro station every day.

Madkulturens Hus will occupy the first two floors of an eight-storey high, L-shaped building that will also provide space for 30 housing units and an intimate, green courtyard.
The venue, which will include food stalls and educational facilities, will primarily host workshops and events with a focus on food culture and culinary experiences.
Madkulturens Hus opens up into a tree-lined, Parisian-inspired avenue, which was originally built for King Frederick IV at the beginning of the 18th century.
