Threats reportedly arrived via Twitter
Two Scandinavian Airlines planes making their way to Zaventem Airport in Brussels were subject to a bomb threat last night. The threats had the Belgian airport on high alert.
Both airplanes, arriving from Oslo and Stockholm, landed safely and returned to their flight schedules later last night after being delayed for about two hours after landing in Belgium.
The planes reportedly received the threats about 20 minutes before they were due to land, and while the airport prepared for an emergency situation, other incoming flights were redirected to other airports.
It has yet to be determined how the threat was received, but a Belgian news source claims the threat was communicated via Twitter.

Bye bye Boston
In related news, the budget airline Norwegian has revealed its intention to scrap its flights between Scandinavia and Boston.
Norwegian opened two routes from Scandinavia in spring, but they will cease to run from October 30.
The news means that in the future SAS will be the only airline offering the route from Scandinavia, via Copenhagen.
