The international startup community Techmeetups will be in town on Thursday
This Thursday there will be a rare opportunity for job-seekers to meet face-to-face with exciting local startups looking for talent. The TechStartupJobs Fair is being organised by the international startup community Techmeetups and will open at 7pm at Republikken on Vesterbrogade.
Silvi Jordanovska, the global operations manager at Techmeetups, said that while this is the first such event to take place in Copenhagen, similar events have met with great success in other cities.
“To date we have organised 21 job fairs in 8 cities including London, Berlin, Barcelona, Paris and Stockholm,” she said.
“Techmeetups was founded in 2010 by Shawn Ghosh. It is a global community of 21 tech startup communities. We help tech companies and startups through organising events such as job fairs, hackathons and masterclasses.”
So far ten companies have confirmed their attendance, and more than 400 job-seekers have signed up for the Copenhagen event.
Jordanovska explained that networking will be the key word.
“It will be a three-hour event and it will be 100 percent networking. There are no presentations, just the opportunity to reach out to the startups.”
Visit the event page here to attend. Job listings from the participating companies will also be displayed on the Techmeetups website for those who can’t make it.
