Things to do
Week 9 – Flex with Becks: Flowers of Scotland – when will we see your like again?
This article is more than 9 years old.
Two braves, one bootcamp, half the price – what’s not to like about working out in good company?
This June, KayserFitness is launching a summer special, ‘Buddy Bootcamp’, for which you can along with a friend sign up for personal training sessions together and share the cost. But be assured, half-price sessions are just one of its many advantages.
Scotland forever
To give it a test run I invited my former team mate and rower Anine Hallander to join me.
We rowed together when we both went to Glasgow University, and I promise we didn’t co-ordinate our matching Scotland tops! We were amused as well as overjoyed about the coincidence, and we proudly represented our adopted home by giving it our all during the training.
We couldn’t help reliving our former glory days on the team, which turned out to be all the more motivating too.
Motivational boost
On that note I can absolutely recommend training with a friend! Doing it with a trainer ensures you don’t end up chatting for two hours on the treadmill, but still really get an effective workout in, while motivating and pushing each other and keeping it fun.
The three of us had such a great dynamic going, I even asked Kayser to extend the workout by a few more exercises (and almost instantly regretted it when the burning set in).
Give it a go!
This week’s workout is short but really hits your cardio and muscles in all the right ways.
So grab a friend, head to the next gym and give it a go, or contact Kayser for the special offer sessions in June if you’re really keen and need to shape up for that summer holiday by the beach! They also include individual meal plans and all that jazz.
