Hotel SP34 getting a lot of attention
Copenhagen’s Hotel SP34 has been named one of the best new hotels in the world by the internationally-renowned travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler (CN Traveler).
Hotel SP34 – which opened in April 2014 – was the only Nordic hotel on CN Traveler’s ‘2015 Hot List: The Best New Hotels in the World’. It was particularly commended for its design.
“Hotel SP34 is fast becoming an attraction in its own right that can help bring a new crowd of tourists who have money to spend to Copenhagen,” said Karim Nielsen, the CEO of SP34’s owner, Brøchner Hotels.
“We are therefore not only promoting Hotel SP34, but the entire city of Copenhagen as a beautiful and modern tourist destination.”

Early acclaim
Hotel SP34 – located a stone’s throw away from Copenhagen’s walking street on Sankt Peders Stræde 34 – is a 118-room upscale hotel featuring, among other things, an organic breakfast, a daily wine hour, three a la carte restaurants, a rooftop terrace, a private gym, conference facilities and a private cinema.
For the hotel, the acclaim comes on the heels of the recognition it received last year when it was named one of the best urban hotels in the world in 2014 by the lifestyle and trend magazine Wallpaper.
The Hot List – chosen by CN Traveler’s staff and contributors – included 20 hotels in Europe, 11 in the US, eight in Asia and the Indian Ocean region, seven in South and Central American, seven in Africa and the Middle East, four in the Caribbean, and three in Australia and the Pacific region.
