Citizen tip-off brings cops en masse to notorious Nørrebro housing estate
Over 50 officers converged on Mjølnerparken last night acting on a citizen tip-off that a man was walking around the area dressed in camouflage. The man fled when the first patrol arrived at the notorious housing estate in Nørrebro, Copenhagen.
“Since we currently have a high amount of manpower available, we were able to quickly get a hold of him,” police spokesperson Dan Sorensen told Ekstra Bladet. “Now we need to know why he was in such a hurry to run away.”
Search comes up empty
Police briefly cordoned off a section of Mjølnerparken and searched the surroundings, including a basement, to determine whether the man may have thrown something away.

Police have yet to find anything, including any correlation between last night's action and the weekend's terrorist attacks by Omar El-Hussein.
