Future Kulture part of the Ministry of Education and European Youth Programs
Future Kulture, a Danish-based NGO, organised an eight-day workshop event in Vilnius, Lithuania from 28 December 2014 until 3 January 2015, which was financed by the Erasmus+ program (2014-2020).
Targeted at young professionals aged 18-30, the Employment & Volunteership Mobility Youth Exchange drew participants and associations from all over Europe.
Among the countries represented were Estonia (Battle IT), Lithuania (Youth School Vilnius), Portugal (H2O), Spain (Atrendia) and Sweden (Bamboo Upcycle). The attendees learned about new ideas and options for future employment and volunteership.
The purpose of this endeavour was to prepare them to better face the challenges of an increasingly competitive job market.
The event gathered young people from seven partner countries and put them in a direct dialogue with representatives from the employment sector, associations and the government, in order to get a comprehensive understanding of job market requirements.
In addition, the participants learned how to extend their intercommunication skills by taking part in workshops, individual projects and events that were aimed at developing their communication and cooperation skills.
This event is part of a larger series of exchange projects developed by the organisation at both national and European level, under the Ministry of Education and the European youth program Erasmus+.
