Carlsberg and FCK sign sponsorship extension

Latest five-year deal will last until 2021
Brewery giant Carlsberg and Danish Superliga football team FC Copenhagen have agreed to extend their existing sponsorship deal by a further five years until 2021.
By then, Carlsberg will have been the main/shirt sponsor of the capital club for 22 years, which will make it the longest such deal in Superliga history.
”We are very pleased with the co-operation with Carlsberg and proud that a brand and a company of that size shows that the belief in us and the commercial potential in FC Copenhagen,” Anders Hørsholt, the CEO of FCK, said in a press release.
”We have a long and successful joint history and Carlsberg's logo has become a fixed past of FC Copenhagen's jersey next to the club's logo. We look forward to writing new chapters in out joint history together with Carlsberg.”

Since 1999
Carlsberg said in a press release that, thanks to their sponsorships with FCK, Liverpool and the European Championships, football is part of its DNA.
Carlsberg has been the main/shirt sponsor of FC Copenhagen since 1999.
