The top ten cheapest apartments in Copenhagen
This article is more than 10 years old.
Boliga.dk has put together a list of the top ten cheapest apartments in Copenhagen today.
The list proves that it is possible (just about) to buy a flat in the Danish capital for less than half a million kroner.
Many of the apartments have seen a reduction in price since they first came on the market – number 5 on the list has seen a reduction of 100,000 kroner and has been up for sale for a number of months.
Hidden gems
Some of the featured apartments are in surprising areas – although it is at number 9 and comes in at 699,000 kroner, an apartment in Frederiksberg has made the list.
However, the majority of the apartments are in Nørrebro, Nordvest or Sydbyen.
The apartments all have one thing in common: they're small.
They range in size from 26 to 40 sqm, with Boliga conceding that the 26 sqm apartments don’t leave much room for wild arm movements – or any arm movements at all.
The cheapest apartment, on Rantzausgade in Nørrebro, costs around half the amount per sqm than the average apartment in the area. However, this comes with the unusual feature of the front door opening directly into the kitchen/bathroom.
