Soul Made Faroe Islands made it to the global fashion show at the Eiffel Tower
Short of designing the astronaut suits for the next lunar mission, the career of Danish designer Beinta Poulsen will never reach the same heights again – literally.
Her 'Autumn Cool' Nordic-style knitwear collection, produced by her Faroese company Soul Made Faroe Islands, has been selected to appear at a prestigious global show overlooking the rooftops of the world's premier fashion capital – from the Eiffel Tower itself.

The J Autumn Fashion Show on October 31 is the eighth to be organised by fashion powerbroker Jessica Minh Anh at an exotic location. Previous venues include Tower Bridge, the Grand Canyon, One World Trade Center and the Petronas Twin Towers Skybridge.
The show will showcase designs from eight countries (also Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Vietnam, the US, Germany and India) and include over 120 haute couture and ready-to-wear garments.
Staged on a two-tiered outdoor catwalk, spanning 150 metres across the first floor of the Eiffel Tower, “the most exquisite designs should be displayed at architectural masterpieces”, promised Anh in a press release.

The Soul Made Faroe Islands brand was established nine years ago. Taking inspiration from the Faroese landscape, it stands out thanks to its constant interplay between mild and rough, and dark and light.
“We love challenges, and we love striving for perfection,” said Poulsen in the press release.
