Police fear fondling could grow into something more
Police in north Jutland are looking for a man who is grabbing unsuspecting women on the buttocks.
The suspect, who is described by police as “Greenlandic-looking”, pulled his bike behind a 22-year-old woman who was cycling near University Boulevard and grabbed her on the backside.
A few hours later, he assaulted a 20-year-old woman who was out running in the same part of town.
Serial grabber
Police suspect the same man is behind similar attacks that occurred in late summer.
“We don’t have exact numbers, but it is probably between five and ten women,” north Jutland police spokesperson Mogens Hougesen told MetroXpress.
“We have had some reports, but suspect there were incidents that were not reported.”
Could escalate
Police are afraid the grabber may be mentally unstable.
“One could imagine that this could develop into something more violent,” said Hougesen.
