Creepy abandoned fun park still attracting visitors

Vandals looting the crumbling remains of Fun Park Fyn
It's been years since Fun Park Fyn in Aarup on Funen closed and turned into a defunct, crumbling, rainbow-colored ruin, but the creepy theme park still manages to attract herds of unwanted visitors who don't come for the waterslides.
Poul Henning Rasmussen lives next to the playground and told DR that trespassers venture into the private property almost daily.
"It attracts people who want to make graffiti and people who obviously find it fun to loot and steal everything."
Classic recession tale
The park shut down in 2007, when new owners purchased the property and were ready to give it an overhaul. But the financial crisis prevented them from completing the renovation and the park is now a haven for urban explorers and vandals.
"I'm extremely offended by the people who just wade in and remove stuff from the place, when they know perfectly well that it's not their property," Rasmussen said.
